Tribute tattoo ideas?

There's a symbol called the "Tree of Life". While it does have ancient pagan symbolism to some people, to others it is just a beautiful symbol for the eternal cycle of life-in us, the memory of the dead and their knowledge lives on. Google it and see if you like it; you can generaly make it as large or small as you want. You could have your grandfather's name and perhaps any saying or song verse he loved entwined in the branches. Perhaps a finger tattoo of one of his rings would serve his memory well?
