Can my corn snake be fed more often?

When i first decided to buy my pet corn snake, ziggie, it was a bright orange red and pink color...some months later when i bought it it was sort of faded and the workers there ured me that it was the same one. I wonder if it is being fed enough or if i could feed it something more nutritional than a pinkie.
