What could it have been?

my grandpa past away saturday and we found him in his chair gone, there was blood coming from his mouth he was slouch over alittle and not breathing.... we dont know how long he was gone for.....what could have happened to him..... we didnt do an obtopsy on him so i need help in mending my mind of what happen.....
