What happens if someone writes down your license plate number and calls the police and fallows to your house?

i was driving and there was this one really slow guy in front of me he was going 15mph in a 25mph zone and i needed to get home as fast as i could, so i cut him off where there was 2 yellow Solid lines. then all of the sudden he speeds up and i get scared so i speed up and he kept fallowing me in every turn i took. so i thought i would make a lot of turn and lose him, so i did but he caught up to me. then i lost him for a second so i went to my house and the next thing i know is that he drove by my house and was on his phone. so i think he called the cops and gave them my license plate number. I'm scared i don't know what to do. do you think the cops can do anything about this?
