Please please help!!!?

ok so this student doctor was checking inside to see if i was dilated at all but i guess he couldn't find my cervix and he hurt me and i bled. is this bad? could it have been my mocus plug or something? uhmm please help. is it bad when he couldn't get to my cervix?? i'm almost 39 weeks pregnant.
