GRRR! Someone please tell me why he would do this????

(Ok so I'm not sure if he ditched me or if his over protective mom kept him hostage lol). The guy I like asked me if I wanted to go to the amusement park today, just the two of us. I’ve known him for about 4 years now so it’s not like we just met or anything. But we never really chilled; I was always just his sister’s best friend that he has a crush on. There is this undeniable connection between us, it’s almost electric. You know what I mean? So finally after all these years, we decide to hang out & he literally BAILED out. He told me he would call me & he seemed really excited! I was so stoked all day...I waited...& waited...& waited & he never showed up! He didn't even have the decency to call me! So now I'm left confused. He always plans stuff with me but never fallows through. Anyone have any idea why he bailed?
