Chaos theory? Is releasing an air filled balloon in an open room a good ogy?

I feel chaos theory is both a simple and important concept that is lacking an example that is universally understood. Is my subject an apt example for describing chaotic systems to the mes or is it flawed? please tell me, thank you!
